Be sure and check with your local beach patrol about any problem areas. Never swim on an unguarded beach and never swim alone or at night. The NWS advises that you bring a flotation device with you in the water.
The sea will be fairly calm today, with waves only between 1 to 2 feet high with light swells. The ocean water temperature is 73 degrees, although that may vary depending upon the beach you go to.
