Coastal Flood Warning In Long Branch

A warning was in effect for minor to moderate coastal flooding during the Friday morning high tide cycle, which occurs in most coastal areas at 6 a.m..

If you live in or near areas prone to tidal flooding, please take the necessary actions to secure outdoor objects and move vehicles to higher ground before the high tides begin.

Residents should anticipate street flooding approximately 2-3 hours before and after the times of high tide and some roads may become impassable for a period of time.

South winds of 20-30 mph with gusts to 50 mph are also forecast overnight into Friday morning.
