Free COVID Testing In Middletown, Long Branch Tuesday
There is free testing for County residents in Long Branch Tuesday, and free testing for healthcare workers only in Middletown, also Tuesday.
LONG BRANCH, NJ — On Sunday, Monmouth County announced one of its highest coronavirus case counts since the start of the pandemic: 458 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Monmouth County. There were two new deaths over the weekend.
Monmouth County will offer free COVID-19 testing for Monmouth County residents on Tuesday, Dec. 8 in Long Branch from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bucky James Community Center, 231 Wilbur Ray Avenue. Residents should note the clinic has 200 tests and once those are administered, the clinic will close for the day. You do not need to make an appointment or have health insurance; simply show up early with your ID.
Also on Tuesday, Dec. 8, Monmouth County will offer free mobile COVID-19 testing specifically for healthcare workers and first responders in Middletown from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Middletown Fire Department, 336 State Highway 35. There will be 100 tests available at this site.

Information about the County’s COVID-19 testing program is available on www.visitmonmouth.com. Residents are encouraged to fill out the testing requisition form ahead of testing in order to expedite the process.
