Free Long Branch COVID Testing Friday

On Thursday, Monmouth County announced one of its highest coronavirus case counts ever, with 577 new cases and tragically, eight deaths.

LONG BRANCH, NJ — On Thursday, Monmouth County announced one of its highest coronavirus case counts ever, with 577 new positive cases and — tragically — eight new deaths.

This comes the same day New Jersey announced a highest single-day record of 6,314 new cases and 123 new deaths.

On Friday, Jan. 8 Monmouth County will offer its free coronavirus testing in Long Branch from 4- 7 p.m. at the Bucky James Community Center, 231 Wilbur Ray Ave.

You must show you are a Monmouth County resident to qualify.

Residents should note the clinic has 200 tests and once those are administered, the clinic will close for the day.

Residents are encouraged to fill out the testing requisition form ahead of testing in order to expedite the process. Residents with general questions or concerns about COVID-19 are able to contact the MCHD phone bank by calling 732-845-2070 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
