Long Branch Fire Department Aids Postal Worker
The rescue occurred during high tide in Monmouth Beach.

Members of the Long Branch Fire Department aided in the rescue of a postal worker in Monmouth Beach on Friday afternoon.
The mail truck got caught in icy high tide floodwaters on North Road in the borough.
Long Branch firefighters were able to successfully rescue the postal worker and his mail with the help of the Monmouth Beach Fire Department.
