Long Branch Superintendent Named NJASA Superintendent Of The Year
Dr. Michael Salvatore, Chief Education Officer of Long Branch Public Schools, was named the superintendent of the year by the NJASA.

LONG BRANCH, NJ - Long Branch Public School's superintendent was honored by the New Jersey Association of School Administrators (NJASA) as the Region II Superintendent of the Year, according to a release from the NJASA.
Dr. Michael Salvatore is one of three regional winners for the award that recognizes outstanding leadership in education, according to the NJASA.
Salvatore was honored specifically for his work with personalized learning for students, and putting a focus on transformational education, according to the NJASA.

Now, the NJASA will decide which of the three regional superintendents will represent New Jersey in for the American Association of School Administrators National Superintendent of the Year award, according to the NJASA. The selected superintendent will be chosen by a board of the NJASA and former regional superintendents of the year.
