Majority of Long Branch Voters Supported Christie
Christie defeats Buono by over 700 votes in Long Branch.

A majority of Long Branch voters chose to support Governor Chris Christie on Tuesday night.
Including mail-in ballots, 2,608 residents voted for Christie while 1,864 residents voted for Barbara Buono.Â
Long Branch has a population over 30,000, but only about 4,500 voted on Tuesday.
City Mayor Adam Schneider, a Democrat, endorsed Christie, a Republican, this summer as well.Â
