Monmouth County SPCA Preps For Kitten Season With A 'Shower'

The event will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on April 14 at the shelter at 260 Wall Street in Eatontown.

EATONTOWN, NJ - They are helpless, blind and orphaned if they are lucky enough to make it to the Monmouth County SPCA in time.

It's no easy task caring for newborn kittens. Some make it, some don't. And the SPCA is hoping residents will donate much-needed items for the upcoming "Kitten Shower," which will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on April 14 at the shelter at 260 Wall Street in Eatontown.

Kitten season is fast approaching. Here's what is needed:

Kitten Meal Replacement formula (KMR), Miracle Nipples, Royal Canin baby cat soft and dry food, non-clumping litter, Ziplocks, heating disks and purr pillows.

If you can't make it to the shower, you can ship the items directly to the shelter.
