Pier Village Unveils New Year's Eve Agenda

Come and skate, take a carriage ride and watch the fireworks

LONG BRANCH, NJ - Don't feel like sitting around watching the ball fall on television in Times Square on New Year's Eve?

Then come to Pier Village. You can skate under the stars, take a horse and carriage ride and and watch some fireworks.

Rink admission and skate rentals are available for purchase online anytime or in person at the McLoone’s Ticket Booth & Skate Shack during all normal operating hours through Presidents Day.

Pier Village is also offering half-price skating nights residents, students and employees.

Long Branch residents, students and employees can skate for half price every Wednesday at the Pier Village skating rink into February.

"Long Branch Skate Night" will run from 3:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays through Presidents Day, according to the Pier Village website.

You must have an identification card from the city or district schools in order to take advantage of the offer.

The same offer applies on Mondays for Monmouth University, college students and faculty members with a college identification card. The hours are the same, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tuesday night is half price night for Monmouth Medical Center employees and their families and Civil Service workers.
