Report: Boutique Hotel Coming to Asbury Park
Hotel will feature rooftop bar, report says

A boutique hotel with a rooftop bar will come to the building formerly known as a Salvation Army retirement home, the Asbury Park Press reported this week.
Development firm iStar Financial is looking to take on the project at the Fifth Avenue building, which is located on a lot overlooking Sunset Lake and about one block from the ocean, the press reported.
The building has been vacant since 2004, the newspaper’s report said, after a bank foreclosed on the property. iStar bought it in 2013.
