Sunny Skies For Today, Possible Showers On The Way
The rip current risk is low, waves will be around 3 feet, National Weather Service says.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ - The good news is there's no heat advisory for today. It looks like the heat wave is slowly coming to an end.
The bad news is that the forecast for next few days will be that familiar "cloudy with a chance of showers." Not what you want heading into the Labor Day weekend. But by Sunday, things will start to improve.
The National Weather Service says skies today at Monmouth County beaches will be mostly sunny. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Winds will be from the northwest around 5 to 10 miles per hour. There is no lightning threat.
