WATCH: Videos Capture Bruce Springsteen Rocking Jersey Shore Bar

Youtubers grabbed video of the legendary rocker performing with Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers on Saturday.

No, it’s not unusual for Bruce Springsteen to show up ”unexpectedly” at an Asbury Park bar - especially when one of his buddies makes a rare appearance in the city that made “the Boss” famous.

But every time it happens, it still has the feeling of being new.

Bruce rocked the house with one of his old friends, Pittsburgh-area rocker Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers, on Saturday at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park. He may be 65, but that puffed-up body that still slips easily into a pair of jeans and looked more like the 35-year-old superstar who became as American as apple pie in 1985, just a year after the blockbuster “Born in the U.S.A.” was released.

Or better yet, maybe it was more like 1978, because he played 15 songs such as “Darkness on the Edge of Town,” from the 37-year-old album of the same name, and added the 1970s hit “Because the Night” and “Pink Cadillac” from 1984, among others.
