Annual Memorial Day Celebration Announced In Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township's annual Memorial Day Ceremony has been announced for 2018. This year's ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 26.

The ceremony started at 12 p.m. in Rock Spring Park, and is rain or shine. This year's keynote speaker is Col Matthew G. Kelly, USMC, who is the joint program manager for the V-22 Osprey at the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD.

During the ceremony the park will be closed to all other events. No dogs are allowed. For more information or questions, call the recreation office at (908) 876-5941.
