Bear Spotted Knocking Over Halloween Decorations In Long Valley
This bear is all tricks and no treats.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Usually fall decorations outside homes stay pristine util Mischief Night when rowdy teens use silly string and toilet paper to cause mayhem. For one Long Valley family, however, Mischief Night came a little early, when a bear was caught destroying their fall decor.
"In case you don’t know what is destroying your fall decorations, we caught the culprit flipping a hay bale and using our pumpkins as chew toys," Kelly Salerno said in a Facebook post sharing the pictures. The bumbling bruin was caught on her home security system.
The bear casually picked up a pumpkin, moving it from is spot onto the walkway before gnawing at it. He played with it a little more before moving it to the front lawn.

After messing with the Salernos decorations, the bear walked over to a neighbors house to play with their front porch pumpkins too.
