Beer BBQ Bacon Showdown Coming To Morris County

The event will benefit a local first aid squad and feature plenty of the three Bs: beer, bacon, and BBQ.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A Beer BBQ Bacon Showdown festival is coming to Morristown and, like the name says, will feature plenty of beer, barbecue and bacon. All the indulgence will be for a good cause: the festival will benefit local first aid squad.

The fest will feature craft beer from 30 different New Jersey breweries. Each will have four styles, including one rare beer or a beer brewed specifically for the event (find a full list of breweries here). For food there will be gourmet food trucks and chefs, and a competition for chefs to show off their best creations.

Proceeds will benefit the Chester First Aid Squad, who provide aid to Chester Borough and Township, as well as surrounding towns.
