Beloved Long Valley Man Passes Away

Thomas Wesley Hogge, Jr. “Wes”, 50, of Long Valley, NJ passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at home. Wes was born on August 16, 1968 and grew up in Seaford, Va. He has lived in Long Valley for the past 2 years but has lived throughout NJ for the past 30 years. Wes was a Network Security Manager for Verizon Wireless. He was great with computers and was self-taught on most of his computer programing.

Wes loved music, especially playing the guitar. He enjoyed to travel, eating at good restaurants, and liked to build and fix things around the house. Wes also has a love for the water, and enjoyed fishing with his granddaddy growing up.

Wes is survived by his wife, Karen Giannotti, his children, Megan and Christopher Hogge, his stepson, Jabril Giannotti, his parents, Tom Hogge and his wife Margaret and Sharon Cheek, and his sister, Teresa Hogge. He was predeceased by his grandparents, James T. Hogge, Jr, Olive M. Hogge, and Dorothy Clarke.

A Celebration of Wes’ Life will include a visitation on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm followed by a 7pm funeral service at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. Interment will be held privately by the family.
