LONG VALLEY - The Senior Resource Center and Washington Township Public Library are hosting a free virtual presentation entitled "Cognitive Fitness for the Fit Senior" on Monday, March 22nd at Noon. Just as it’s important to exercise to keep our bodies fit, it’s important to exercise our brains as well. And the fancy name for “brain exercise” is Cognitive Fitness. Join this presentation to learn how you can keep your brain healthy and strong! Presenter Douglas Downs is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Brain Injury Specialist who has been with Kessler since graduating from NYU’s OT school in 1995. He has worked in both the inpatient and outpatient rehab environments primarily treating stroke and brain injury, and is a member of Kessler’s Revital cancer rehabilitation team as well. Most recently, Doug has also been treating patients recovering from COVID-19. His specialties include vision and cognition. Doug enjoys interacting with his patients and watching them improve as he guides them along their rehab journey. Lunch 'n' Learn is sponsored by the Senior Resource Center. This program will be held live over Zoom. Please register with an email address so we can send you a link to attend. Click here to sign up.
