Dads Can Grab Brews And Berries On Sunday In Long Valley
Ort Farms is hosting the "Berries and Brew" Father's Day event, with Jersey Girl Brewery, food vendors, strawberry picking and other fun.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — For those looking to do something special with a dad in their life on Father’s Day, Ort Farms has its “Berries and Brew” event in its lineup, where dads and families can pick their own strawberries, enjoy live music, grab a meal or dessert, adults can sip on some craft beer from Jersey Girl Brewery and everyone can take in some other fun.
For a $7.95 admission fee for the day, with the cost of strawberries picked at $3.95 per pound, families can celebrate Father’s Day together at Ort Farms on 25 Bartley Road.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m. and with tickets available at every half-hour increment until 4 p.m. on Sunday (other events at the farm may run until 5 p.m.) and a full-day admission with a picking box included, guests can enjoy the farm for PYO strawberries and more.

Dellano Foods, Carlito’s Taco Truck and Sip and Swirl Ice Cream, are expected to be a part of the food offerings.
Other fun for the day includes pony, cow train and hayrides, as well as live music.

Strawberry picking is not guaranteed for the entire day and it’s first come, first-served. Tickets are neither refundable nor transferrable, though if the field is closed, guests can get a credit for a visit at a later date.
