First Snow Storm Walloped Morris Co.: Nov. 15 Snow Totals

These were no early-season flurries. Find out how much snow fell around the county here.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Thursday's nor'easter was no early season flurry like some had anticipated, this was a full-on snow storm.

The fast accumulating snow and wet and heavy, jamming roads across the state and turning 30 minute commutes into multi-hour ordeals. Schools across the county either delayed or closed entirely on Friday in the storm's aftermath.

Morris County was expected to get about three inches, but the snow storm far surpassed those predictions, with some towns getting 7.5 inches.
