Former Long Valley Resident Dies At 83
William J. Reynolds lived Washington Township for 18 years before moving to Harding.

LONG VALLEY, NJ - The following obituary was provided by the Leber Funeral Home.
"William J. Reynolds, 83, of Harding, NJ passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Morristown Medical Center. Bill was born on February 4, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA. He has lived in Harding, NJ for the past 32 years and previously lived in Long Valley for 18 years. Bill was a proud graduate of Villanova University and was a retired Executive Vice President at Medical Economics.
Bill loved spending time in his summer home in Ocean City, NJ, while participating in family activities. He was an avid fan of the Eagles, Phillies, and Villanova Wildcats. Bill enjoyed golfing and gardening. Most of all, he adored his wife and family.

Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanette McBride Reynolds, his children, Suzanne Rocco and husband Bob, Colleen Caldarola and husband Maurice, and Michael Reynolds and wife Stephanie Tessmer-Reynolds, his grandchildren, Bill, Caroline and Claire Caldarola, Kathleen Rocco, and Ada and John Tessmer. Bill is also survived by his sisters, Katherine Benham and Florence Adams. He was predeceased by his son in 1980, William John Reynolds, who he and Jeanette affectionately called “Our Bill”.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will include a visitation on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 4pm to 8pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. An 11:00am funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Christ the King Church, 16 Blue Mill Rd, New Vernon, NJ 07976. Bill’s final interment will be held at a later date at Our Lady of the Mountain Cemetery in Long Valley, NJ.
