Help Clean Up Long Valley’s Koehler's Pond On Sunday
Washington Township Recreation is looking for extra hands to help remove invasive Water Chestnut plants in the pond on July 11.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Helping hands are needed in Long Valley this coming Sunday to remove invasive Water Chestnuts - an aquatic plant - in Koehler's Pond.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers will help with wading in shallow areas of the pond or if they have boats - with rowboats preferred over canoes and kayaks - will be delegated to help in deeper sections of the pond. Volunteers in boats must have life jackets on to participate and are asked to bring rakes.
People who can help closer to the shore with Water Chestnut removal are being asked to wear waders.
To give a helping hand on July 11, send an email to Kbudd@wtmorris.net or call 908-876-3382.
