Lifelong Long Valley Resident Passes Away
John "Jack" P. Fritzges, 50, was a lifelong resident of Long Valley.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Obituary provided by the Leber Funeral Home:
John “Jack” P. Fritzges, 50, a lifelong resident of Long Valley, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Hackettstown Medical Center. Jack was born on April 14, 1968 in Morristown, NJ. He graduated from West Morris Central High School in 1986 and worked for Beneficial Bank and most recently at Bon Venture Services in Flanders, NJ.
Jack was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Eagles, Phillies, Yankees, and Devils. He loved trips to Martell’s in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ and spending time in Morristown, NJ.

Jack is survived by his mother, Faye Fritzges, his sister, Kelly Haffner, his nephew and niece, Nick and Nicole Haffner, his Uncle Walter Lushefski and Aunt Dorothy, his cousins, Chris, Lori, and Lisa, and his friends, Chris, Mark, Will, Tommy and Mike. He was predeceased by his father, Jack Fritzges in 2008.
A Celebration of Jack’s Life will include a visitation on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 1pm to 4pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 10am funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at German Valley Rural Cemetery in Long Valley, NJ.
