Long Valley Assists After Building Catches Fire In Mount Olive
Multiple agencies responded to the second-alarm fire by Route 206.

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ — The Long Valley First Aid Squad assisted as firefighters fought a second-alarm blaze Sunday morning in Mount Olive. Agencies responded to heavy fire conditions in a building at Route 206 and Flanders Netcong Road.
The Flanders Fire Company and Rescue Squad was alerted about the smoke just before 5 a.m. Sunday. Within minutes of arriving, authorities confirmed a working fire and struck the second alarm.

Officials got the fire under control, hitting hot spots after because of collapsed areas in the building. Investigation crews came in after the fire was extinguished, and all fire crews were released shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Assisting agencies also included the Budd Lake Fire Department and Budd Lake First Aid and Rescue Squad. The Long Valley First Aid Squad responded and provided rehab and EMS standby.
