Long Valley Business Of The Year Nominee: Homework Helpers

LONG VALLEY NJ — The coronavirus pandemic has presented challenges for most local businesses, but that hasn't stopped many from continuing to offer the products and services beloved by their regular customers.

One of those businesses is Long Valley's Homework Helpers

The business was nominated by Patch readers as a business of the year for managing to navigate the turbulence with steadfast determination and an unwavering commitment to the clients they serve.

"They have adapted their services throughout COVID and their goal is clear: to give back to the community," said Shelly Katz. "They have a 'pay it forward' mentality."

Around New Jersey, most schools have adopted a hybrid or full-virtual model due to COVID-19 and Homework Helpers sent out messaging that they were there to help parents.

"While we look forward to the day when COVID-19 is long gone, today we must acknowledge that our students need to receive quality education despite the virtual environment," the team said in a flyer.
