Long Valley Chiropractor, Teacher Passes Away
Nicholas D. Viggiano, Jr., a local chiropractor and teacher, passed away at 91.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Obituary and photo submitted by the family:
Nicholas D. Viggiano, Jr., age 91, of Long Valley, NJ died Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Paramus Veterans Nursing Home, Paramus, NJ. Nicholas was born March 11, 1928 in New York, NY to the late Nicholas and Mary (Bochicchio) Viggiano, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Joan A. (Puleo) Viggiano and his sister Anne Liggierio.
Nicholas proudly served in the Marine Corps from 1948 to 1950. Nicholas was the owner of Nicholas Viggiano, Jr. Chiropractic, Long Valley, NJ in addition, he was a Teacher with Morris Catholic High School. He was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Church, Long Valley where he was a Eucharistic Minister, a Pre Canna Teacher and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Nicholas enjoyed flying and spending time with his loving family.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Alitz and husband Scott, two sons, Paul Viggiano and Christopher Viggiano and wife Jaqueline, seven grandchildren, Vico and wife Daniella, Luke, Matthew and wife Tara, Vance, Joseph, Sarah and John, a great grandson, Santino, a brother- in-law, Pasquale Liggierio, a nephew, Steve Liggierio and a niece, Susan Strasle.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Our Lady Of The Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester. Please meet at the Church.
