Long Valley Farm A Finalist For Garden State Culinary Award
Valley Shepherd Creamery was one of three artisans named as a finalist for the award.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Long Valley's very own Valley Shepherd Creamery has been named a finalist for Outstanding Food Artisan in the The Garden State Culinary Arts Awards. Three of the ten nominees were named as finalists.
The Creamery is known for their artisan cheeses, honey, jams, and tours of the farm. To be nominated in this category, a food artisan must show "significant talent and skill in their chosen genre" and "set new or consistent standards of achievement and excellence." They must have been working professionally for at least three years. The Creamery was also nominated for this award in 2017.
The two other finalists in this category are Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse in Milford and Milk Sugar Love in Jersey City.

The Garden State Culinary Arts Awards are given out by the Garden State Awards Committee, which consist of over 150 independant food writers and critics from around New Jersey. Members will vote in all categories, and the top three will be named as finalists. Winners will be awarded on April 29.
