Long Valley First Aid Saved His Life. He Just Ran 27 Miles.
A man suffered cardiac arrest in June. He visited the Long Valley First Aid Squad nearly a year after they were dispatched to save him.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Long Valley First Aid Squad saw a special visitor on Monday, nearly a year after they helped save his life.
The first aid squad was dispatched last June after Nathan suffered cardiac arrest. Dispatchers provided CPR instructions and calmed the patient's family as help arrived.
The Long Valley First Aid Squad, Saint Clare's Health MICU 57, Northstar & Southstar Air Medical Helicopter and Washington Township police arrived for CPR and lifesaving intervention.

Nathan responded well to treatment at Morristown Medical Care and showed the first aid squad Monday that he's doing well. In fact, he ran 27 miles the day before and plans to hike the Appalachian Trail next year.
