Long Valley Man, Son Gift Police With Handmade Flag
Peter Markiewicz and his son delivered their offering Thursday.
LONG VALLEY, NJ - Washington Township Police officers will now have a new flag displayed when they begin and end their tours thanks to the work of Peter Markiewicz and his son.
The Markiewiczs presented a flag made by hand to the Washington Township Police Department Thursday and received a note of thanks on social media.
"We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support from the community that we have received in the midst of this turbulent time," police said.
