Long Valley Resident Stabs Man In Chest, Stomach: Police
Kyle Kacicz is in jail facing an aggravated assault charge, police said.
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - A 52-year-old Long Valley man is in jail after stabbing a 49-year-old Budd Lake man in the chest and stomach on Sept. 25, according to the Hackettstown Police Department.
Authorities were called to the emergency room parking of the Hackettstown Medical Center in the aftermath of physical dispute with a person stabbed between two men.
When officers arrived on scene, two men and a female woman were engaged in a physical dispute, police said. Officers determined that there was an argument involving Kyle Kacicz of Long Valley and a 49-year-old man from Budd Lake.

During the argument, Kacicz used a knife to stab the other male in the chest and abdomen causing seriously bodily injury, police said. Kacicz suffered head and face injuries and both were transported to Hackettstown Medical Center, police said.
Kacicz was charged with third-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility, police said.
