Long Valley Robotics Team continues winning streak

The Long Valley FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics team "Those Guys" had another strong showing at Warren County Technical High School in Washington NJ on Saturday Feb 16th for the Northwest NJ FIRST Tech Challenge Championship.

"Those Guys" ranked #1 after the qualification rounds and ended up being the Winning Alliance Captain, and earned a berth to the NJ FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship on March 10th in Maplewood NJ.

They also won the Motivate Award at this competition which is described as "a team who makes a collective effort to make FIRST known throughout their school and community, and sparks others to embrace the culture of FIRST"

It has been a great season so far for "Those Guys" as they have won awards or have been on the Winning Alliance team at every one of their competitions this year.

The team is now preparing for the NJ State Championship on March 10th in Maplewood NJ.

They will be at the Long Valley Science Fair at the Long Valley Middle School on March 16th for Q&A sessions and demonstrations.

They will also be doing a Q&A session and demonstration at the Long Valley/Washington Township Library on March 23rd for NJ Makers day.
