LONG VALLEY, NJ — Obituary provided by the William J. Leber Funeral Home:
Barbara Ann DeMarco, 67, of Long Valley, NJ passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Barbara was born on May 11, 1952 in Clifton, NJ and grew up in Wayne, NJ. She met her husband, Michael, at Josephthal when she was 19 years old and moved to West Hemstead, NY after getting
married. In 1985 they moved to Long Valley, NJ where they raised their family. Although Barbara had jobs in the NY Stock Exchange Firm and started Kid’s Club at Dickerson School in Chester, she took most pride in being a mother and caring for her family’s home. She enjoyed cleaning and decorating the house and rearranging the layout of the furniture.
Barbara was a big time NY Yankee and Derek Jeter fan, she was such a big fan that she had never missed watching a game in the past 20 years. The tv was permanently fixed on the Yes channel. She enjoyed cooking. Barbara would help anyone who needed her. She always had an open door at her home and friends were always welcome. Barbara also loved Christmas so
much that she kept a tree up all year.

Most of all, Barbara loved her family and would drop anything for them.
She was a constant supporter of her son, Michael, and they shared a love for music, especially the Beatles. Ashley and she were best friends, they went to concerts together, NY Yankees games, and even took a memorable trip to Hawaii. Barbara and her husband, Michael, had a relationship that lasted over 48 years. Barbara’s true pride and joy were her grandchildren, who she would do everything with. She will be remembered most by her family as
wonderfully naïve and by her contagious laugh.
