Lingering Power Outages Expected Through Wednesday In Morris County
Severe weather downed poles and lines, leaving hundreds in Morris County without power.

A mix of thunderstorms and wind knocked out power throughout the state Monday, with areas of Morris County still without power.
In Long Valley, a downed power pole shut down Mountain View Avenue while in Mt. Olive hundreds will be without power until approximately 4p.m. Wednesday. Roxbury is the only Morris County town that is expected to have power restored to all customers around 10p.m. Tuesday night.
Out of the 142 remaining outages, Mt. Olive and Morris Township were affected the worst, as most of the outages in other towns were less than five customers per town.
