Mountain View Avenue Blocked By Downed Power Pole

For those planning to travel on Mountain View Avenue today it might be best to find an alternate route. A power pole, downed by last night's storm, has fallen across both lanes of traffic near Hilltop Terrace and Long Valley Blvd.

The advisory was posted at 9:02a.m. by the Washington Township Office of Emergency Management and notes JCP&L has been dispatched but that no time or estimated time for the road's re-opening has been posted.

According to JCP&L's outage tracker, 17 households lost power in Washington Township as a result of the storm. No info or time has been provided regarding restoration of services.
