MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Older dog Victor is ready for his forever home, where he can spend his golden years in a loving family.

Victor was rescued from the streets of Jersey City in need of a haircut and some love, Wise Animal Rescue said (see a pre-haircut photo below).

"Victor is the friendliest little guy you'll ever meet. He loves when people hold him and scratch his ears. He is extremely easygoing and can live in almost any home but would prefer one on the quieter size due to his ~golden~ age," the rescue said. Victor does well with older children, other dogs, and cats.

Despite being older in age, Victor does not currently have any medical problems, but might have some in the future.

"Due to his age, he needs a family that understands he may have medical needs in the near future and needs the most loving family ever! He has been doing amazing in his foster home, complete with another dog, but we can't wait for this deserving pup to find his forever home!" the rescue said.
