The 'Pack Gives Back

2019 West Morris Central Baseball team committed to winning ... and paying it forward

The West Morris Central baseball team, in partnership with Shop Rite of Chester, recently completed 2 days of “Bagging for Charity” to help raise money for activities related to their upcoming 2019 baseball season.

As is customary with all of the baseball team’s team fundraising events, the players select a local charity that they wish to share the proceeds with.

For their December 8th event, the boys selected “Sarah’s Fight for Hope” as their charity of choice. Sarah’s Fight for HOPE is a charitable, NJ-based nonprofit organization committed to providing HOPE and help to children battling cancer and their families named in honor of the boys' dear classmate and friend, Sarah Crowley.

One of the baseball team's members this year, pitcher Connor Staine, a University of Maryland-bound standout, has battled Tourette’s Syndrome - the boys decided to donate in their team leader’s honor.
