Short, Roehrich Prevail In Washington Township Committee Primary
Incumbents prevail in contested Republican primary. Results are unofficial until the Morris County Clerk's Office certifies them.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Incumbents Republicans Kenneth W. Short and Kenneth William Roehrich held onto their seats and prevailed against challenger Joanne Schlesinger in Tuesday night's contested Washington Township primary race, according to the unofficial results posted by the Morris County Clerk.
Short and Roehrich are expected to face Michael Brunken in the General Election, the only Democrat on that primary’s ticket.

Washington Township Committee (two seats available)
- Kenneth W. Short (R) - 1,037
- Kenneth William Roehrich (R) - 1,071
- Joanne Schlesinger (R) - 557
- Write-In (R) - 20
- Michael Brunken (D) - 336
- Write-In (D) - 11
These are the current results with 13 or 13 districts reporting in. The results of all of these races will be official once the Morris County Clerk’s Office certifies each of them, after all mail-in ballots are tallied.
