Rita’s Of Hackettstown Serves Up Tasty Treats In Long Valley
The famous ice and frozen custard establishment officially opened the doors to its local franchise on Schooleys Mountain Rd. on Friday.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township and residents in surrounding areas won’t have to travel far for something icy this summer to cool off, with Rita’s of Hackettstown celebrating its grand opening on Friday.
Washington Township Mayor Matt Murello helped to cut the ribbon with the franchise owners of the new establishment at Hastings Square.
“Congratulations on your grand opening and welcome to Washington Township,” Murello wrote on his Facebook Page late Friday morning.

"Stop by today and say ‘hi’ to owners Beth and Randy and enjoy,” Murello added.

The hours of operation for the location are Monday through Sunday, noon to 10 p.m., according to its website.
Rita’s is known for its Italian Ices (including sugar-free), Cream Ices, Gelatis, Misto Shakes, Frozen Custards, Blendinis, milkshakes and other frozen treats.
