Road Embankment Project Begins On Tuesday In Long Valley

The project is expected to alternate traffic between lanes for a two-week duration on a section of Schooley's Mountain Road.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — An embankment improvement project is expected to start on Tuesday, June 29, that will impact a portion of Schooley’s Mountain Road’s traffic flow as work is being done, stretching to Cataract Park.

Washington Township’s Office of Emergency Management anticipates the project will last about two weeks, with traffic directed and alternating on Schooley’s Mountain Road, between the north and southbound lanes.
