HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - After jumping the border from Washington Township to Hackettstown last year, Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is preparing to open for the 2021 season.

It has been a long road, getting from there to here, but owners took to social media to share a photo of their "shiny brand-new space."

"We’re working hard to open as soon as possible, and we’re close," they said. "But there is still some work to do."

Their new location is set for Hastings Square Plaza, Unit 4. 470 Schooleys Mountain Road.
"We thank all of our loyal customers who have made our time in Washington a tremendous experience," they said on Facebook. "We hope you will all stop and say hello when you're in the Hackettstown area.
