Rt. 46 Closed, Schooley's Mountain Road Reopened: WTPD
The first snow of the season is coming down, and police are asking you to stay inside.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Schooley's Mountain Road and Rt. 46 were both closed as snow continues to fall in Long Valley, police warn.
Schooley's Mountain Road was impassible between Flocktown and Newburgh, and Fairview and Springtown, police said. It reopened around 6:30 p.m.
Route 46 is closed between East Avenue in Hackettstown and the Naughright Road intersection, police said.

Drivers should stay off the roads if at all possible, police warn.
Morris County can expect to get several inches of snow, as well as a layer of ice, during Thursday's nor'easter. If possible, residents should avoid driving. Several major highways, including the Turnpike and Parkway, have speed restrictions in place.
