Storm Closes More Than A Dozen Roads In Long Valley

Tropical Storm Isaias may be leaving, but the damage is done.

LONG VALLEY, NJ - Tropical Storm Isaias is making its presence known throughout New Jersey Tuesday as strong winds and heavy rains buffeting the area have caused power outages and localized flooding in the Garden State.

Below is a list of road closures from the Washington Township Office of Emergency Management as of 4 p.m. Tuesday.

  • CAMP WASHINGTON ROAD is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • SCHOOLEY'S MOUNTAIN ROAD by CATARACT PARK is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • SCHOOLEY'S MOUNTAIN ROAD between FAIRVIEW and SPRINGTOWN ROADS is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • NAUGHRIGHT ROAD in the area of #167 is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • MIDDLE VALEY ROAD is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • WEST SPRINGTOWN ROAD at MARKHAM DRIVE is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • PLEASANT GROVE ROAD at GLEN RDIGE DRIVE is impassible with a tree down
  • EAST SPRINGTOWN ROAD AT SCHOOLEY'S MOUNTAIN PARK is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • NORTH FOUR BRIDGES ROAD at #120 is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • FLOCKTOWN ROAD at NESTLING WOOD DRIVE is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • CHURCH STREET is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • WEST VALLEY BROOK ROAD at #303 is impassible with a tree down across roadway
  • MISSION ROAD between NANCY TERRACE and NAUGHRIGHT ROAD is impassible with a tree down across roadway.
  • SCHOOLEYS MOUNTAIN ROAD between FLOCKTOWN and NEWBURGH ROADS is closed with downed power lines.
