Very Good NJ Dog Wins Westminster Dog Show Obedience Title
This is the third consecutive obedience tile in a row for the northern New Jersey dog.
COLUMBIA, NJ — Who's a good dog? According to the 2018 Westminster Kennel Club dog show, Heart from Columbia is, winning the Westminster Masters Obedience Championship on Monday.
Heart, a 5-year-old Labrador retriever, has won the competition three years in a row now, nj.com reported. It's worth nothing that the obedience category was only introduced three years ago, making Heart the sole winner so far.
Heart is owned and trained by Linda Brennan in Columbia, Warren County.

"I always tell people, 'She's not the perfect dog but she's the perfect dog for me.' She and I mesh very well," Brennan told the paper.
About two dozen dogs competed in the event, where dogs must complete six-minute routines showing off their obedience skills.

Obedience is one of several categories at the Westminster Dog Show. Other titles include agility, best in breed, and best in show. The competition wraps up Tuesday night with the best in show category; to find a full schedule of events, click here.
