VIDEO: Reality Check Vies for Spot in Bamboozle Music Festival

The band Reality Check is a 3-month-old rock group vying for a spot in the Bamboozle line-up this May.  

Band members include:

• Mike Cappelluti, Keyboards, Freshman at
• Dana Hembling, Vocals, Sophomore at
• Tom Heider, Bass, Freshman at
• Billy Nally, Drums, Freshman at
• Jake Hoffman, Guitar, Homeschooled in Long Valley

The group, excluding Heider, met when participating in the Live program based out of the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. They play a variety of rock music including self-written songs and covers of their favorite bands.

Reality Check is competing in Round 2 of the Break Contest, the official battle of the bands for Bamboozle. The competition will be held on March 11 at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
