Virtual Gardening Program Hosted by Washington Twp. Library
"Pruning or Ruining? Deadheading and Pinching Back" will be held Thursday, April 8th at 7 p.m. over Zoom

LONG VALLEY - On Thursday, April 8th at 7 p.m., Washington Township Public Library will host a free virtual program, "Pruning or Ruining? Deadheading and Pinching Back." Join Master Gardener Gail Di Domenico over Zoom to learn the basics of what, why, when & how to prune your trees and shrubs, what tools to use and their care and when to consult with a professional. Learn how to shear hedges, deadhead flowering shrubs & perennials and how and when to pinch back and cut down your herbaceous perennials. Learn the techniques to keep your plants healthy, vigorous and beautiful. No fruit tree or rose pruning will be discussed. Informative handouts will be provided. This program is provided through the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Morris County. Registration is requested. Please register with an email address so we can send you a link to attend.
