Republicans Win Washington Township Committee Seats

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The polls are closed in Washington Township, and results are in for the Washington Township Committee, and the local and regional school boards.

All winners are projected and unofficial until results are confirmed by the election clerk. Projected winners will be marked in bold once all precincts have reported results.

Here are the real-time results for Washington Township Committee:

• John Tyler Oborn, Republican 2,471
• Greg Franklin Forsbrey, Republican 2,537 (I)
• Veronica Fernandez, Democrat 1,731
• Sarah (Sally) Hudson, Democrat 1,686

Current committeeman James LiaBraaten did not file for reelection; his term expires at the end of the year.

Here are the real-time results for the local Washington Township Board of Education (five candidates are running for three seats):

• Jessica Decicco 2,305
• Kelly DeMayo 2,458
• Kiera Horutz-Mitchell 1,799
• John Gorman 1,319 (I)
• Kathleen Koop 1,131 (I)

Here are the real-time results for the seat on the West Morris Regional school board (two candidates are running for a single seat):

• Clayton Zdroik 1,169
• Lisa Woodring 2,099
