Morris County To Implement DWI Checkpoint August 27 And August 28

Morris County Prosecutor's Office awarded grant to organize future DWI checkpoints across the region.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office announced the implementation of a Driving While Intoxicated checkpoint this coming weekend, August 27 and August 28, in Washington Township.

The checkpoint in Washington Township will be manned by law enforcement agents from both the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the Washington Township Police Department.

The Washington Township checkpoint will be one of many to be organized over the next month across the county under the authority of a grant, The County DWI Enforcement Grant, the Prosecutor’s Office received from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety.
