Woman Accused Of Drunk Driving With Kids In Car: WTPD

Police say the women had her three underage children in the car with her when she was arrested.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A Linden women is accused of drunk driving while her three children were in the car with her, police said.

Lorena P. Consuegra, 40, of Linden, was arrested just before 1 a.m. on Saturday after police pulled her over on Route 46, police said. Police say they smelled alcohol during the traffic stop, and after an investigation, Consuegra was arrested.

Police charged her with motor vehicle complaints for DWI, DWI with a minor in the vehicle, reckless driving, improper turn, and improper use of a turn signal. She and her three children were released to a sober adult. Consuegra has an upcoming municipal court date.
