You're On Thin Ice Long Valley: Rink Remains Closed
The ice isn't solid around the edges yet, according to Washington Township Mayor Matt Murello.

LONG VALLEY, NJ - The hockey rink remains closed as the ice is not yet solid around the edges and is unsafe for skating, according to Washington Township Mayor Matt Murello.
The park gates along Rock Road will remain closed to the park until the rink is safe for skating and there will be signage at the park entrance soon indicating once the rink is safe for skating, he said.
"We are doing our best to work with the weather to get this open to the public as soon as possible so please be patient and stay off the ice until it is safe," Murello said.
