3-Month-Old Son Of Bergen Cop Dies After 'Courageous Battle,' Obituary Says
Nicholas R. Barbieri was the son of Christopher Barbieri, a Closter police officer, and his wife Lauren.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Baby Nicholas Robert Barbieri died Friday after a "courageous 3-month battle," his obituary states.
The 3-month-old Barbieri was the son of Closter Police Officer Christopher Barbieri and his wife Lauren. The family lives in Hillsdale.
He is survived by his parents, sister Noelle, grandparents William and Renee Barbieri and Robert and Sharon Vallario, great-grandparents Lucy Barbieri and Marie Vallario and aunts Alexandra Barbieri, Shelley Vallario and Lisa Vallario and uncle Tony Vallario.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Harrington Park. Visitation will be at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave., in Northvale from 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
