It’s that time of the year again. When the leaves change colors, and everything become pumpkin spice. But where can you enjoy your seasonal beverage and have a great time? Well lucky for you I have compiled a small list of the places I believe are great to enjoy your fall with your friends and family.
Darlington Park:
Located on Darlington Avenue, Mahwah NJ is a small park which is a great place to spend the day. There are wooden picnic areas, open lawns and a new children’s playground, so you can have a fun filled day with your family. If your family or fiends are looking to be a bit sportier, Darlington Park also has tennis and handball courts. There is something for everyone at this fun filled park.

Ramapo Reservation
Located on Ramapo Valley Road (Rte. 202), this reservation has plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. With over 15 miles of marked trails for hiking you will never get bored exploring the reservations rivers and valleys. The best part of the reservation is that your able to bring your dog along to explore valley with you. If hiking isn’t your thing then don’t worry, just a short walk from the parking lot there is a beautiful lake where you can sit down have a picnic and enjoy the view.

Lupardi’s Nursery
Located on 75 Blanch Ave, Closter NJ is one of the biggest most challenging corn mazes in New Jersey. Corn mazes and the fall go hand in hand and what better way to enjoy the fall then to see if you can get through a 6-acre corn maze. For only $12.50 you can see if you have the skills to get through this challenge. If corn isn’t your thing don’t worry Lupardi’s Nursery also has hayrides and a haunted house. So, there is plenty of things to do at this farm.
Wards Pumpkin Patch
Has the fall really started unless you have a pumpkin outside your house. Well don’t worry because the Wards Pumpkin Patch has you covered. Located on 552 NJ-17 Ridgewood NJ this pumpkin patch has been around since 1940! Coming to this pumpkin patch will help you get into the Halloween spirit with there famous painted pumpkins. It’s a great time for parents, kids, and young adults looking to have some fun this fall with pumpkins.
Pantophobia Haunted Attraction
Since were right around the time of Halloween there is not better way to get into the Halloween spirit then to go get scared! This haunted hayride will do the job, located on 53 Craig Rd, Montvale NJ this haunted hayride will give you 25 min of terror.
